I'm not really sure what technically makes up a 'macro', however, to ME, this is more like a close up. Macro would show very close up details of one subject. I know that's not a 'technical' deffinition, however, it is what I'm looking for in the challenge. The challenge description says "extreme close up"
ANYWAY, that being said, I do like the DOF. Focus is right on where my eyes want to see it. LIghting is good. Angle and framing/cropping are good. I like the diagonal division of the shot. There is a strange darker blue blurr in the upper left of the photo that draws my attention, But otherwise a nice photo. ~Heather~

This photo was taken at the downtown skatepark in salem oregon on top ot the pyramid. Thats me with the big hair and forest is the one standing next to me. I bumped the contrast way high.
