The Walkby IronworkerComment by AutumnCat: Lighting is poor and the photo is out of focus (camera or subject movement).
This would probably be improved if the ISO was increased or maybe a tripod.
Also, the composition might be more interesting and have more impact if the child had knelt beside the dog. Good luck! |

The Walkby IronworkerComment by DigiFotoBuddy: This is my own personal voting scale. It's merely an huble opinion, based on whatever limited photography knowledge I have. You have all right to agree/disagree with me.
Composition(2): 1
Focus/Sharpness(2): 0
Lighting/Exposure(2): 0

The Walkby IronworkerComment by srugolo: Trying to be constructive: The picture is out of focus or shaked, the white balance is wrong; the subject is OK for a family snapshot kind of mood |

Heronby IronworkerComment by PapaBob: I only scored this one a 4 and here is my reasoning, hope the information helps.
The bird tends to get blend into the background, with this being an advanced rule set there are ways the background could have been toned down to bring more focus to the bird. If you have PS you can make layers of only the background or only the bird then make adjustments to help make the bird a focal point rather than just part of the image. Also cropping the right side to put the bird at the 1/3 line and cropping tighter on the bird would help. Alway think about what does not help the image hurts the image. |

Heronby IronworkerComment by Lydia: Just not sharp enough to score well, I fear. Also, to make the shot more interesting, I would have cropped some off the right side so the subject is not so centered. I'm sure this was a beautiful sight to see. |
