Reminds me of photos from my Father-in-Law's time in civil war China. Poignant reminiscences.

I love long exposure water pics, the blue and white against the poles are really pretty. Nice job.

Greetings,
Wow, wonderfull color saturation and tonality, the DOF is a bit soft for my liking and the flower in the front forefront is definitely a distraction, not sure if justs its location, or the location combined with the soft DOF, still a good photo, hope you get a chance to work with these flowers some more as I love the colors!

Very nice subject, good light and b/w tones.
This photo need some standing ground visible for the subject also the sky is too plain, few clouds would be decorative.

Strikes me more as a downward spiral... I guess I've never met a photo of spiral staircases I did not like and this is certainly no exception. I like the fact that the shot is not perfectly centered, because I find the wall adds an essential visual balance and contrast. IMHO, the picture begins to go a bit muddy after the third flight down. My own instinct would have been to climb to the top and try to make it look like the spirals ran out to infinity just as was done here; but in looking at this image, I can't help but wonder whether getting three good courses and the checkered floor might not be at least as effective...

In any case, it's a solid and interesting shot.
