Taken at the same time as the Kate entry? I see you have already been helped out with some constructive criticism which I have to agree with. I would also add that the inclusion of the roof space means including the hanging object which is most distracting. This would have made a much better composition cropped just below that hanging object in a square format excluding the dark shadowed foreground. You have a lot of potential left in the lovely couple some careful cropping will, I hope you agree, result in a much stronger image.

Lovely setting and well processed, but the couple needs to occupy more of the shot. I'd imagine in a large frame on the wall this works fine but not on a MacBook screen

An appealing image that fulfils the challenge brief

A great abstract John, most appealing. Everything is good about the single obvious pen against the background jumble of pens makes it stand out together with your title it leaves room for an obvious yet subtly mixed interpretation. I like the mono tones and lighting it creates an appealing mood with an air of mystery about it. I like your creative approach.
