The artifacts from the Hue/Saturation mods are really unpleasant. The function "selective color" under selection offers a "softness' control, but unfortunately, it's against the rules to use it. All things considered, the shot would have worked better if you used a worklamp to shine through the flag (creating a stronger effect on the actual image) rather than trying to bring it up in photoshop.

So here it was, one day before the deadline and I had nothing. Going through my garage, I came across an old pair of rollerblades. Decided to pull the wheels off to see what they looked like off the skate and proceeded to setup a couple of shots. An hour into shooting, my wife popped in to see how it was going and suggested I set up a shot where the wheels spelled "TRUE". I had been trying to figure out what the letters stood for during the first hour of shooting, but with being under the gun it just wasn't coming to me.

A couple of shots later it was off to PS for some adjustments, then a quick run through Neat Image. This was the final product. Though the wheels had some scratches on them, especially on some of the white lettering, I was rather satisfied with it.

Thanks to everyone that liked and voted for it. Being rather new to the site and this only being my 3 challenge, I was very happy with the 14th place it took. Congratulations to the ribbon winners and everyone for that manner for a job well done!!

a nice rollerclade shot. The TRUE thing makes it much more interesting than the other similar shots. The last wheel to the left seems to be at a different angle from the rest. Apart from that I think its gr8
