Great sky and subject. both powerfull and balanced in tone. I wish the buildings had a bit more of the frame, but I assume there was a good reason you couldn't go lower, top ten, but could have been higher.

you've done something to the original image, but am not sure what. too much brightness, not enough contrast? dunno. do you have photoshop? if so, try using curves - by manipulating the top and bottom ends of the curves, you can make the darker areas darker and the brighter areas brighter. brightness is really the achilles heel here...
