| 03/25/2014 04:08:28 PM | My world is coldby angelo75Comment by angelo75: Thank you so much, I'm very happy for the Top Ten in early ...
Given the theme, I figured that most of the photographs in the competition would have been winter landscapes.
I wanted to propose an original photograph and different.
I froze a little water to get a slab of ice, then I asked my wife to keep her in front of his eyes.
The problem I faced is that the ice in the freezer is not transparent but white, to refine the layer of ice where I was interested in I used a hairdrier to vary the thickness.
Thanks for the votes, for their comments and for appreciating the photos, I'm happy! |

| 03/12/2014 11:10:57 AM | Portrait, low key, rule of thirdsby angelo75Comment by Bear_Music: Lovely piece of work, but it's not rule of thirds, it's a "centered composition". That her mouth may fall on the upper ROT horizontal line, and her shoulders as well, on the lower one, doesn't over-ride the entirely dominant, symmetrical nature of the image.
Of course, this is neither here nor there in the real world, but I'm afraid in THIS challenge you may be getting dinged for this. Not by me, however. | Photographer found comment helpful. |
