The Rideby comelyrowComment by thaddeusl: Selctive focus is usually achieved when part of the picture in INTENTIONALLY OOF and part of it is in sharp focus. This photo is completely out of focus. No wonder it ranked in the last place position. |

The Rideby comelyrowComment by mrblobby: I think you may have learned a valuable lesson here... what is interesting to you personally is quite often not as interesting to others. Your photos need stand out quality for other people who are not related to say WOW.
Hope this helps :)

The Rideby comelyrowComment by justine: Lots of movement here......yes I see she is on a swing/slide. Not a very interesting or high quailty shot. The light is very harsh. Of course to you personally because you know her I'm sure the feeling is different. :) |

The Rideby comelyrowComment by fannyb: I'm not exactly sure what this shot means to you. Something tells me it means a great deal so I'll try to convey what I see. For me, the lighting is to bright, and the fact that no part of the picture is in focus is distracting. Maybe a higher shutter speed would've fixed that. As for the composition, it's pretty good, I like the post on the left, although I would have liked to see the right hand and more of the subject. score: 4 Well done nontheless! Good luck! |

The Rideby comelyrowComment by boomer: To me, this is just a poorly focused snap. Is the connection to the theme that the subject is in a "no-hands" position? If so, that's not really clear (no pun) either. Since everything is out of focus -- the subject and the background -- it's difficult to look at this image for long. |

The Rideby comelyrowComment by basia03: she is a happy looking girl, and it looks like she had a lot of fun posing for this picture... that's all i could make out in this blurred overexposed motion... there are so many ways you can improve on this...
