Fire Hydrantby slyshamusComment by Judi: Okay...this is a good try...but the composition doesnt do the image justice and the flash is a little harsh. If this is taken at night try recomposing using a tripod...either up close or maybe at a really low angle....try looking at it from a new perspective. Then using no flash...just long shutter this would actually come up quite a treat. I hope that helps you. |

Fire Hydrantby slyshamusComment by UrfaK: Love the contrast with yellow and the background. Not sure if the obvious focal point of the flash works but I still like the pic |

Fire Hydrantby slyshamusComment by Penny Lane: I like the way the hydrant is lit up against the dark background. I find the subject a little boring though, a problem I often have with my own photos. 6 |

The Retireesby slyshamusComment by 3DsArcher: I'm guessing that you have comments about the size of this photograph. I suggest that you set which ever is the longest edge, in this case the vertical, to 640 pixels. I don't know if the blurred effect was intentional but it doesn't help this composition. I reccommend use of a tripod. |
