A nice pastiche of flowers. Since they are all so front and center, I kind of want most of them to be in sharp focus. Great placement and cropping.

Very nice - perhaps some better compression could have prevented some of the artifacts present.

Thank you for the comments, especially to Kandyi. Your comments were very helpful! I love photos of wildlife and plants but am horrible when it comes to the names. Just getting this angle was extremely difficult because I had to nearly lean over a 2 story railing to get to it. I'll try again!

Meeting the Challenge: Well done

Composition: I like the placement of the flower and stem in this photo. The background gives a sense of more flowers with a natural setting, rather than a studio shot, although I would have liked it better if the main flower was farther away from the background so that the background was more blurry and blended. \The subject is lovely that you picked, but I'm a bit biased, loving flower photography (esp. wildflowers) myself.

Technical Quality: I would have used a bit more depth of field (again with more separation in the background) as the flower is not in real good focus, and the center of the flower is even more blurry. It looks like the forward bud is more clear than the flower itself. Also, since you didn't have a lot of light on the flower, you may have been able to adjust levels or brightness to make the flower look a little less dark. Nice cropping, although you could have taken off a little on the left without doing harm and bringing your flower forward a bit.

Creativity: The way the flower comes into the picture is likely the most creative part of this photo.

Conclusion: Nice subject, good placement of the focal point, nice colors, could have used some techical improvement.
