excellent job done on the colour with the flowers.....I would have liked to have seen them either arranged in a different vase or on the plant - I ended up focusing on the vase, which to me didn't enhance the image

Waaaaaaaay too many colors!!! One yellow flower and one stem of green leaves with the rest desaturated and you could have won this challenge. Just removing the already dull an inconsiquencial backgound doesn't automatically enhance the picture, or, make it a desatration.

The wall is way overexposed due to the sun directly overhead. Re-shoot at a different time of day.

Nice eye for composition. Unfortunately the overexposure really washes out some detail here. This would be a great photojournalistic image with a bit less lighting oradditional exposure compensation.

photo's like these are tough for me because I feel it's a little unethical to take them, but I can't deny that it's well done ... 9. If I were this guy, I wouldn't want people taking pictures of me in an attempt to win a photo contest. But I realize that this is my opinion and shouldn't have anything to do with my vote on the photo's quality.
