Heartland Morningby cshepComment by e301: An almost great shot - just that area of over-bright distortion top left, which is a shame, but hopefully won't hurt your votes too much. Without that, I think greater contrast would help bring out the interruption of rhythm caused by the cow more, but I guess that bright area prevents that. 8 |

She's alittle shaded so lifting her body with some subtle dodging might help. If you have Photoshop CS then the shadow highlight filter would lift it too (but a mask would be useful so as not to treat the already bright areas). |

It seems a lot of people thought this shot would have looked better in color. I vacillated over this for quite sometime before submitting the B&W. I'm providing the color version. You be the judge.
