Seagleby oksamitComment by Gracious: Very nice, although there are a couple of things to improve. The wing clipped is a bummer, and the tree behind the lamp is distracting, and the lamp looks slightly tilted to the left. Could be me though. Nice attempt, and I know ya can't just get the gull to pose for ya. The colour of the sky is really nice. The border might bother some. I've just about given them up on DPC. It's too hard to please most. |

Seagleby oksamitComment by scroosloose: Good shot. Might have been better to crop the lamp post and trees out of the picture though. |

After lunch...by oksamitComment by andygough: i'd like to see a little more DOF, colours look a little washed out. next time get a little closer, try a tighter crop just the head and the paw. |

Cellphones anyone?by oksamitComment by banmorn: I think Santa has a cell phone....the missus insists on it. No if you showed LBJ (that's the Little Baby Jesus) with a cell phone....that would be so incredibly tacky it couldn't miss....better yet a nativity seen with both Jospeh and Mary on cell phones....WOW....the Just the sacrareligiousness of such a scene whould be way out there....tacky wise that is. |

After snowstormby oksamitComment by MrAkamai: Not too often do you see images with vanishing points. Makes me reminisce about my first art classes when we learned about perspective. Well done. |

After lunch...by oksamitComment by vadvirag: I am not sure this would be a macro, rather a close-up. If I were you, I wouldn't have cropped the cat's left ear and the paw. I like the colours, the tounge gives a nice colour element to the photo. :-) |
