I'm sorry to say that this doesn't interest me at all. It has much to do with a lack of focus but also to do with a rather plain subject shot in an unengaging way.

For this to work I think you really need to get a lot closer to obscure some context since there is much in your shot that is unnecessary. The earring may look more unusual and generate more intrigue if it was shot from any other angle than the one that we would normally view it from, for instance from under the ear looking up or over the ear looking down onto a naked shoulder, creating a sensual vibe and some visual confusion.

Ultimately your duotone effect and lens flare seem like substitutes for a good compsition.

Technical: fits the challenge. Exposure is a little underdone for me, composition good, focus seems mushy, lighting is flat.

Personal: The lens flare kills this for me. It looks so blatantly fake as to take away all interest in the photo. To me it looks like something you'd see in the movie Tron. Sorry.

well it is hardly a simple sunset....I think the colors superb and I like the different patterns caught in the sky....you lost me with the inclusion of the flag pole and the tall tree on the left....otherwise quite nice.
