Sorry...this child appears to be reaching for the bars, which in my mind is embracing childhood, rather than "letting go of childhood" as titled. Therefore I did not score it as high as I might have otherwise. Perhaps if you depicted a child turning his or her back on the swings or bars and walking away, the title would have been fitting.

Nice idea! I just feel that it is too dark to portray the feeling you are trying to get across. Maybe if you are more sad about letting go of your childhood (which is understandable, as I can't do that!), but I would still use more light, just emphasize the blue hues in the picture.

Oooh, good theme. You could have got down lower for the shot so that you still get the mountains but not the fence. Also, change the angle so yo dont have that yellow thing behind the kid, it is distracting.

I think cropping the bottom part away, up to and including the yellow part, would have made the picture stronger, more expressive.
