I love the lines and skyline in this shot. It looks like the clouds covered the tree with shadow. Maybe waiting a bit more for it to become highlighted would give this shot much more interest

Title seems too long - with this image you don't need to try and justify how it fits into the challenge - if anyone fails to see the fit perhaps they just don't appreciate the powers of a beautiful landscape in aiding silent meditation/ contemplation! 8

Beautiful pastoral shot. Great composition and saturated colors. I really appreciate the fact that you've taken a more subtle approach to the silence theme than most, I'm just not sure that the picture without the aid of your title immediately brings 'silence' to my mind. Wish this challenge was for landscapes so I could have judged it higher. :)
