A nice shot, but it's a little plain, in my opinion. Pot calling kettle black here... since this shot has more interest than mine does.
Anyhow... I think that the lid cracked opened added to the interest, so good choice there. But maybe if you added some candles, toys, something else white, it would have created a better interest? Maybe even a white teddy bear hanging out of, or sitting in front of, the chest. It would have given the idea that there were other trinkets inside, perhaps a child's toy box.
Nice detail in the shot.
Also, the fact that the backdrop looks wrinkled is distracting to me.

Not a fan of the crop - would like to have seen the whole phonograph and maybe a more interesting surface or an angle that fills out the frame more. Otherwise, still a nice image and good technicals.

A really great pet shot with a wonderful sense of humour. I think a crop eliminating the buildings in the background would improve this shot even further.
