Not really seeing any negative space here. There is a lot of nice subtle detail in the background. Another point I'm noticing is that the highlights on the body of the swan are blown out.

Good stopped motion and well thought out angle. However the tree makes the shot a bit busy - I know it cant be helped, but does affect the overall feel of the shot.

I like a photo with a good back-story. Its a good first entry.
You have some good clarity. Perhaps it appears to the viewer to be titled, too tight of a crop, and should be a squarer frame. A "track level" shot might have given a nice view of the top of that building on the right- or you could leave the top off completely.

The title would work without the person in the image. The person doesn't look forgotten. She's too well dressed and clean and fit to look forgotten.
