Well, this must be Italian, the chiles are red, and there is no tomatoe. Being from Mexico, I have to count you down, right? It's ok, I have an open mind! Your composition is a little to the left and those scraps of garlic skin on the canvas have got to go. But, object placement is very nice, and this is a rarest of occasions when I think that a border enhances any photo. Nice work. 8

Lighting and background are good but IMHO it need more DOF because the front is too blurry.
The top of the book is in focus but you have there less light (it is dartker) than the bottom of the book (out of focus part)
If the top of the book would be brighter and the bottom would be darker maybe then the current DOF works well.
