A Breakthroughby AlynComment by ambaker: That depth of field is just amazing!! Just the tiniest smidge mor, as already mentioned, would work better for me. But, as it stands, this is one of the best examples of a shallow depth of field I have ever seen. This belongs in text books to illustrate the concept. |

I'm a bit nonplussed people didn't see the wide angle, as an observant eye would have noticed the distortion on the bottom line of the bath tub, and the corner of the shower, as well as the span: four tiles, all the way up to the top of the shower.
Thanks everyone for your comments though, I appreciate it. |

The Ringby AlynComment by RyanW: creepy
that movie scared the hell out of me when it came out due to an amusing coincidence. as we left the theatre, my roomate's cellphone rang. completely random call from a telemarketer but scared 3/4 of the attending moviegoers.
(doing what i can to comment on every post, some of my comments aren't that witty...sorry) |

A Breakthroughby AlynComment by eschelar: Came back for a look at this one. One of my favorites in this challenge.
Great job. I was hoping for just a hair more detail in the flower itself and I am guessing you were too since there's a halo artifact around the blue head. Looks like either a sharpening thing or possibly a mask of some sort. So you pretty much nailed the shot except for the flower head.
Looks brilliant from 6 inches farther away though, which is a testament to your compo. |
