Pure Innocenceby wifeofmatthewComment by Neat: Surprised this did'nt rate higher, people are so obsessed with sharp photos. I thought it was great. Love your sons name, it's getting quite popular here as well. |

Pure Innocenceby wifeofmatthewComment by wifeofmatthew: Originally posted by Revecca: Composition is fantastic, as well as point of view. I like the baby's position, almost as if he/she is pointing to you. I just wish the focus was a bit sharper, and also, that the light you used wouldn't have created a green tint throughout the image. |
Revecca: I checked several monitors and didn't see the green tint. Sorry you were disappointed in my picture. |

It's Still Life...Even Before Birth.by wifeofmatthewComment by wifeofmatthew: Thanks everyone for the technical tips. I didn't even think of the basic vs. pastel colors. I was visiting my parents' house and just used what I brought with me for the visit. I'm still learning the ins and outs of detailed photography. I tend to get a lot of what I would consider "lucky" shots. By the way, this was in no way intended to be a political statement. Rather, it was a statement of morality and the sacredness of life. I'm glad I have my two boys (my 4 month old son is the one in the ultrasound). |

It's Still Life...Even Before Birth.by wifeofmatthewComment by ndistress: This image feels a little hot to my eye. The contrast of the white of the objects is super stark compared to the black background. Perhaps a softer background tone would be easier for my eye to absorb. The primary shades of red and blue feel out of place with the pastel pallet. I will ignore the polarizing political statement in order to give you a score solely based on the image...you're welcome ;) |
