Comment by MadMan2k:
Looks like it was a lovely morning for sure. From the look and size of this I'm guessing it was with an older or basic phone, so well done making a good photo with it.
The only critique I have is that lightpost, but it almost looks like a question mark so that sort of adds some mystery if we are to 'read' into it.

I dunno. My eyes stray from the skyline to the seagull then to the blue and white thing. Kind of distracting.

Comment by Pangurban:
Pretty picture and I love the sharpness of the droplets. I wonder if the base could gave been a little lighter - a little too dark at the bottom for my taste.

The composition and angle seem awkward to me, and I don't think the vignette adds anything to the photo.

Looks like a good photo for an AARP advertisement. However, the composition feels a little unbalanced with the negative space on the left and I don't think the rocks at the bottom are doing you any favors.

Nice texture on the dock. A very peaceful scene.

Would like to see the shadow more predominant.

Comment by MadMan2k:
There are certainly shadows, but this photo doesn't really appeal to me. The hiker isn't really in sharp focus and I don't care for his positioning relative to the scene. I would have liked to see the color version as well, not sure the B&W conversion does this any favors.

I so love driftwood for my crafting items..
The lines of the wood give a great abstract look to it, as far as the macro goes, I can not comment because I am just learning
