Eye See Youby topdogComment by scottbrooks: Cool idea.
I didn't know you could actually see a magnified eye through the other end of a scope... |

Eye See Youby topdogComment by EL-ROI: That's one point of view I hope to never have. From either end of the bang stick!! |

Eye See Youby topdogComment by aKiwi: Excellent. Fits the challenge perfectly. Not a point of view I would like to be in.
Lighting is a little flat, and I'm not sure if the elbows being cropped off at the bottom helps the image.. but I like the photo. |

Eye See Youby topdogComment by Yo_Spiff: I like the idea of this shot, but I find the composition to be very awkward, the way her elbows are cut off at the bottom of the frame, while I don't find the bit of sky at the top adds anything to the scene. I'd suggest framing differently or zooming in a little closer so that her magnified eye in the scope is what the viewer is drawn to. Lot's of great potential here, however. If you do a reshoot or re-edit, I'd love to see it. |

Shot Glassesby topdogComment by littlemav: Super idea, good composition, I might have bumped the fill light just a little so the glasses are better lit. |

Shot Glassesby topdogComment by jbirkman: I like the elements and the placement. The background is a bit distracting. Also, the subject (the glasses) seem too dark. The DOF suggests attention to the glasses but the brighter gun wins out in the end. |

Shot Glassesby topdogComment by jamesgoss: I'm not a huge fan of the pun.
here's what I think is working/not working.
working- i noticed the hole right away, focus is sharp.
not working as well- it seems a bit dark overall. the table seems a bit crooked/angled, and you can see the seam on the left side.
on a different level, I think this would be stronger without the gun. or if it was pushed a bit farther back in the DOF. As it sits now, the gun is struggling to be the center of attention, I think due to the dynamic angle, and the fact that it holds more contrast than the glasses do. |
