Just Enough Cabbageby schlefComment by HarveyG: Honest and gutsy candid street/market image. This kind of work is real photography. A lady handing over a white bag (what's in it?), a cold shopper with hood and cap (what's he looking at?), a blonde scanning for the nicest veg and 2 x $1 notes in her hand (did she find what she was looking for?). Handwritten prices on cardboard. Veg textures and late afternoon partial backlight make this type of work challenging, not just exposure but also camera shake and blur. Maybe you put the camera on Auto but who cares. It worked!
It's not a studio shot, and thats what makes it fun and real. It takes guts to walk around strangers with a camera these days. Keep it up. I take longer to look at these shots than the studio shots. They are really more likable and interactive in so many ways. |

Peek-a-Booby schlefComment by Garry: Excellent picture, but the all-important eyes look a little out of focus to me. Lovely red hair though .. love how it clashes with the white! |
