I like the lighting you've captured here with the smoke. To have the snow, and to shoot against the sky like this, you did an admirable job of getting a nice exposure. I live near some businesses that put out this steam, and in the winter especially, I often think about taking a picture of the billowing cloud, but haven't yet. This may inspire me to do just that!

The only thing I might have done differently is to angle upward just a bit to change the composition. I would have wanted less snow in the foreground, and also not cut off the top of the column of smoke in the sky. Looking at it again, you might also want to give it a very slight counterclockwise rotation to pull some of the stronger vertical lines more vertical with the frame of the photo.

Hope this is helpful! :)

This is so sweet. I didnt know churches like this existed with a sign like that. It sure could very well be heaven as pretty as it is. You did good with this as far as framing.. Maybe a little more sun or earlier in the day would give it the right amount of light for it to really shine.

The bridge looks like it has a nice curve to it. This might be a much stronger shot, especially considering the challenge, to show more of it and less scenery.

Actually, I quite like the one you submitted. The low saturation makes it more "mysterious" to me. But the other is nice too.

Nice work.

I like the concept, but the picture quality leaves a little to be desired.

Well Dayum.... I didn't thing it was THAT bad... even though I did upload the wrong pic. LOL Ah well, at least I achieved SOMETHING.
Here's what the pic was SUPPOSED to be:

I had JUST signed up to be a paying member and hurried to take a pic and do some post editing to it. I submitted it at the last second and took the wrong one, since the all looked so similar. Oh well, live and learn.

this picture is out of focus and grainy. you have the right idea on being creative, however, i think it is best to pick one of the other, not both fo pas, to make the image creative.
