I have never gotten what is so wrong with a "soft focus"??? Everywhere but, here *DPC*, soft focus is a very acceptable and wanted style. There are photographers in here who love to blur and have soft focus yet, the DPC crowd love to point out a soft focus as though it were a crime. LOL Nice shot. Has meaning and almost a story behind it. :)

sorry, guess i was a little harsh in my earlier comment. some things we ALL seem to go thru as we grow as photographers is to take the obligatory "reflection of myself taking a shot" it has become very cliche, not your fault but it is what it is. also the EXTREME special effects in post processing, you will find will not be recieved well here. people want to see a shot that stands on its own. when you do this much to a shot it looks like a boring shot you tried to salvage with special effects.

of course all this is just my opinion, take it for what its worth.

Good, but for me the area around the subject really doesn't lend much effect. Also, there are a lot of hot pixels on the arm and nose.
