Forever in Stoneby ChelseyAmandaComment by tnun: I feel delightully tugged between seeing 2-dimensional patterns and feeling 3-dimentionsal textures and shapes, and all the while someone loves me. |

Forever in Stoneby ChelseyAmandaComment by posthumous: Most people are taking their Minimalism into the realm of pure abstraction, and it does fine there, but that's not a requirement. Mondrian suggested music and city streets. Here, using the photographic medium, you suggest a history and an environment. Someone wrote this sentiment, perhaps felt it. They are gone but the sentiment remains. You have captured it, but you do so in Minimalist style, having it fade into its environment, but this fading is a form of belonging, so there's a happiness to this photo. And look how beautifully it fades. I think that's a good suggestion for a Minimalist piece to make: that an image will only get more beautiful the more it fades, and that the most beautiful thing of all is emptiness, or utter fullness. What's the difference, after all? To be full of one thing is to be empty of another, and vice versa. Watch as loVe is made REAL. |

Vibranceby ChelseyAmandaComment by giantmike: It's interesting, I had to look at this photo twice to see the branch in focus at the top. That branch does add to the focus, I hope quick voters don't miss it. |

Cliffside Cookingby ChelseyAmandaComment by love: This is one of those photos that is so bad it's actually good. It looks like something out of an old 1970's magazine. The weenies are disgustingly wrinkled. Somehow I hope you did all this on purpose. 9 |
