Winner's Handshakeby KerryComment by mhoogendyk: I get the idea: "Good Game" touches. However, the distance from viewer to subject is such that the translation gets a little lost. If you could have been a little closer and gotten four or six players with hands slapping, etc., it might have come across a little better. The distance and the large area covered also contribute to lots of background materials which distract from the message and make it harder to focus on the important details. Anyway, that's MY impression only. Good luck with the challenge. |

a dog and her beloved, balancing frisbeeby KerryComment by blemt: Pet pictures are tough. The first thing I try and do is get on the level of the pet. Get on your belly and try shooting from the dog's POV. I'd also shoot in later afternoon or early in the morning. Mid-day is harsh and it will wash out your images. |

clematisby KerryComment by Bran-O-Rama: Strong lighting and interesting composition. Would've placed the flower in the middle more to the right as it appears too close to the center. Positioning the frame or cropping in this manner would also remove the distracting green in the upper right. |
