I think the soft focus on the tip of the stem takes something from it. Not sure if it could have been taken w/the whole image and not looked flat. I do like it.

Nice composition here. The organic form of this flower really draw the eye through the shot. IMHO slightly sharper focus on the pollen structure to the right may have helped. nice work nonetheless

Interesting perspective on this image and a great idea for a pattern. I think the overall image may have been better if the pattern had covered either more or less of the image. As it is, the dividing point is close to the center of the image. Also, blocking the light to darken the face may have helped to make the pattern stand out a little more.
