Very tender moment captured well. Low contrast makes it less harsh. Normally I find free study portraits too routine for high scores, but this one stands out above the norm. Sorry to see this so low in the rankings. Average from the commenters fits better than the overall average.

nice idea, but could really could use a tighter crop. all that wasted space really takes away. also, was this really the moment? or was it taken a half second before the real moment, when all their legs were in the air for that first step? timing can be all the difference in the world between a good shot and a great shot.
