I agree with hotpasta. This image did have a lot of potential and still does. Have you tried a tighter crop on here face and maybe black and white? So many stories in the wrinkles on her face.

A very nice scene. But it does look a bit as though you've clipped it from an old pamphlet advertising the Mosel river tributaries. It seems slightly dark and slightly soft. Maybe even a slightly different composition would have helped a bit. The intention is excellent, and there's great potential here, but it definitely needs some fine tuning.

4 - I found it a bit cluttered and the composition felt to me 'unbalanced' with no clear centre of interest and too much going on. Also I found the slight blurry-ness slightly off putting (sharpness isn't always necessary depending on the effect you are after but in this image I think a sharper image would have lifted it a point or two by my taste). Everyone's taste is different though - if you like the effect then that is what matters.

Very nice image. 8. Not sure I would have saturated the colors quite that much, but I understand you were going for the Art Deco look.
