Pretty backlit color. The edges of whatever those are in the top right draw my attention away from the flower somewhat.

Because the subject is so minimal, I hoped the viewer would spend some time figuring it out. I didn't like the shots with greater DOF. It's always great to have different people's perspectivers. Thanks.

Thanks, Julianne. I thought the light was amazing...and challenging since it was midday in Florida. So getting a decent exposure on both the camera and her whatever was not easy.

I really like the composition and light. I know you're using a shallow DOF, but something about the focus seems a teenie bit off. My eyes struggle with it. (And I'm using my best glasses). :/

After spending more time with it, I do find the focal sweet spot, which is very sharp, so I think a little more DOF would have been better for this subject.
