I would have named it "Wait! Don't run away!". Or was the title the irony part?
I don't know football, so I have to go by the clues given in the picture. The guy with the ball is the focal point and the guy with the open arms is the secondary focal point. And the interaction is one running from the other.

Where IS that offensive line?! I like the long shape of the shot. It is hard to seee details from the distance and in the glare of the might lighting. Those guys are moving fast too - but with that light you probably couldn;t use too fast a shutter speed. You could use photoshop or somesuch to take the tilt out of the ground.
