Fiesta Then Siestaby CoreyFitzComment by Yo_Spiff: Now that I can see whose this is, I am impressed with what you managed to get out of that sx110. I suspect it has a really good macro mode like my Powershot S5 does. I still stand by my comment about the compression, however. |

Fiesta Then Siestaby CoreyFitzComment by Yo_Spiff: Excessive JPEG compression is taking away a lot of the sharpness and clarity in this detailed image. I can see some artifacts around the head of the bee, and it is certainly taking away more detail than just the visible artifacts. Compression kills detail. Always use the least compression you can get away with and still come in under challenge limits.
I'll probably be the only one anal enough about compression to recognize it. |
