I feel that the angle of the composition is not getting the most out of the subject. The bottom of the rose is very dark. Maybe a shot with the light of the top of the rose would have helped. Also, the leaves at the top of the shot are pretty distracting. Experiment with a few different angles would have produced a more interesting shot i feel. 4.

Centered composition - yes. Subject interest - weak. The composition for the shot of this rose is uninteresting. The image is messy with twigs and leaves drawing attention. Work on these errors for your next entry.

Shame the main subject is shaded when the background has a nice exposure to it. Would have improved the photo better than any other single aspect.
