The Base Of Ticonderoga by JacobKniselyComment by EL-ROI: There is a focus point here and I think it is on the far left pencil eraser in the foreground. It is such a short focal length that the entire photo looks out of focus. I would have probably focused on the brand name on the top pencil or something. |

Green is the new Blackby JacobKniselyComment by odriew: Lighting is very harsh (from direct camera flash I'm assuming), try diffusing it through a white sheet of paper. Dust/lint in the screen is very distracting. The purple background is uneven. The coiled headphones could have been arranged more pleasantly. Sorry if it sounded harsh, just some constructive criticisms. |

Green is the new Blackby JacobKniselyComment by smardaz: when doing shot like this, you want the subject to be as clean as possible and the b/g as undistracting as possible, this falls a little short on both counts |
