me2.jpgby deersComment by stupidcat: love the "harness" and contrast here. Gives it a 60's/70's film look. Great photo. |

me2.jpgby deersComment by ErikV: I agree, the harshness works well here. But I would clone out the vertical stripe that is just to the left of the face (should be relatively easy to do). |

Lab Ratby deersComment by deers: Though this is a DIGITAL photography site, I am surprised that no one recognized what he was doing. This hand belongs to Mike one of the "lab rats" that I work with. We work in an industrial dark room. He is using a contact printer (like an enlarger) The negative is a round shot negative, which comes from a round shot camera. This camera was used by E.O.Goldbeck! We are called lab rats because we run around in a giant pitch black (no red light when printing because we develop color) building "squeaking" to avoid running into one another. The shot was taken with no tripod and no photoshop. This is good old fashioned shooting techniques using a new age camera. Im a bit disapointed with the scores, I was hoping people would realize the skill it takes to get a shot that used nothing but the safe light coming from a contact room and a camera.. but its a digital site, I guess I should have known lol. I do appreciate the MU comment. Message edited by author 2009-12-08 16:47:29. |

Lab Ratby deersComment by bvy: Intriguing with an enigmatic title. It's past my bedtime. I must be missing something. |
