Born to run...by GrayEllaComment by Paul: I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: I like the narrow scope of this image; you have found a small piece of our world and made it the subject of your image - the inclusion of some background scenery emphasizes how tiny a part of our world this is and the car becomes more significant as a result. I think the coloration / toning works well to.
Critical stuff: Sharpness. I think this is too soft to be truly effective, the brain gets bothered by it and ceases to be interested in your scene.
Overall: Conceptually strong but with some technical deficits. |

Salut!"by GrayEllaComment by kaiser_chief: Like the idea, but in my opinion, I would like to have seen the last line to be just readable.........the use of depth of field to highlight Love is a great idea, but missing the last line of the phrase is like missing the last 5 minutes of a movie............ |
