I like not seeing his eyes. With such dramatic lighting though, this feels so .... clean. The model is good, full of expression, but I think this shot is too wide, and can get the same mood/effect without so much of the clutter.

I really like the story here. I think I might like it more if the lighting were not so white. This looks like a flash. Something more orange (warmer) would give me the feeling of being in a lonely basement bar drinking alone.
