Thanks for the high scores and the nice comments. I was quite pleasantly surprised by the reactions.

The picture was taken in Venice. That's Giudecca (and associated canal) behind me. The surface is one side of a box made of a mirror like plastic. The box was the kiosk for the Macedonian entry for The Venice Biennale (a contemporary art exihibition that takes place in Venice 1 every 2 years). The exhibit was called My Sunshine. The concept was to float mirrors made of these materials in the air and have them reflect sunlight onto the ground (sort of like icarus in the Bond movie Die Another Day).
The box had suffered a bit from vandalism (cracks and such), which accounts for the streaks and the splatters.
