Technical: Most all images submitted fit the challenge. Exposure composition focus lighting all relatively good, though I feel the processing makes the background more present and makes it detract from the subject. Actually, the processing itself detracts from the subject as well.

Personal:I feel this would be much more compelling if at the very least the dog's eyes were unprocessed, but preferably if the whole thing were unprocessed.

Looks like a color version of the other eagle. I think camera limitations are going to make this unappealing to the voters. Nothing against your shot, just limits of the camera. I think with the amount of noise in the shot, that a straight black and white conversion and square crop would have made a stronger shot. 5 -danny

Concept is good. This picture is terribly grainy and it is distracting. Also, the background is a bit distracting and the straight forward head on shot just doesn't work for me.
