ok, this will be a totally picky comment from my point of view...IMO this could have been improved by two things 1) orientation of the picture...when looking at a cross "I" want to look from the bottom up...not from the side. 2) your exposure could have been a bit darker to give a very deep tonal feel to the picture

This Cross is old and worn, broken, grey - yet it is still powerfully imposing in this excellent photograph. The stones surrounding it are smaller, sharper, perhaps more broken and littered with detritus of dead leaves, sparse grass, twigs, trials. The tones match well in this but are differentiated by the thickness and strength of the centre circle - no beginning, no end, eternity. Iota, Eta, Sigma - In Hoc Sanctis, in this place, sacred. Beautifully done.

I think its a nice composition and nice shallow depth of field.
I see artifacts though, maybe caused by excessive sharpening?
