Nice scene, this is the kind of shot if taken either early morning or late afternoon or if there were clouds to add interest to the sky and water it would have been better, as it is it is nice but lacks the punch you get from better lighting. I would also recommend cropping just a slight bit off the bottom and or cloning out the rock in the middle bottom and the sand in lower left corner so they do not distract form the shot. Good luck in the challenge.

interesting object, however I think if you showed the whole town and used the cart to "anchor" image as an item of foreground interest the image would be stronger.

I like the viewpoint used here. Not only does the wagon tell the story of years gone by, but so do the buildings in the background.
