Looks like exposition was too much. The details are lost in the light areas or maybe its just my monitor. I think there is too much of surrounding features (the whole right part of the picture). It distracts the viewer, who doesn't know what the main subject is.

you've could come up with a better idea for this contest, the fence is way too filthy and not looking artistic and the details on the right edge of photo are needless, a tighter crop would have worked just fine

I had a special staircase once. Her name was Vicky. She was a very sexy and curvaceous spiral staircase.

She ran away with an Olympus owner. I still miss her deeply and I long for the cool, gentle feel of her handrail late at night.

Added: This gets a shoehorn for injecting a little humor into a non-humorous challenge. Collect 'em all! Trade 'em with your friends! Recoil in horror at such a dubious honor!
