Oppositesby Kaja LundComment by ellamay: Greetings from the CC. Well technically I have to say you did a great job with getting the exposure right in this shot. The snow is exposed very well, not easy to do. Taking a shot of fire in the day was also a unique and creative take on the topic. I really like the way the flames are transparent. I think had your fire been bigger and your whole image was shot 'thru the flames' this would of been a truly great shot. I am wishing that the fallen tree was perhaps not there, it is a bit distracting from the flames. There are some very interesting flames within this shot. Well done. Keep shooting! |

It´s snow in the air..by Kaja LundComment by Neil: Very nice tones and composition. I would have liked a little more foreground and some "buffer" on the fence (though with more foreground coming out of the corner like that might work well.) |
