I think this is a beautiful photo with good focus, composition, and lighting. The problem is that I can't tell that it meets the challenge. There is no way to know if this is natural or aritificial lighting.

I don't see this as a hidden treasure. I give it a 6 Otherwise, it's a great shot. I'm wondering what kind of flash you used for this. The reflections are a little bit blown from the flash. I know I don't have the equipment to remedy any of that. It's a better job that I could do with the same subject. Having said that, you should check out

Somewhere in there, you'll find the equipment he uses and I know he has some diffusers for his specialty macro flash. Interesting stuff and AMAZING macro insect photography.
