nice colors, nice close up, interesting subject. a bit soft or grainy on the wings, but not hugely so. weak tie to the challenge, so just a 5 from me, probably a 6 if it met the challenge better.

A fun exercise in painting with light for sure. Something about it's not quite there on the fine presentation level for me, and I'm sorry but can't really put a finger on it. Maybe it's the textured material that the book is on, or it could be the width of the light trails (they seem kind of wide). It's just not crisp and making me go "Wow". Nonetheless, I wish you good luck.
