Making a living...by camerabugComment by sfalice: Greetings from the Critique Club
When I scroll down through an image that I have just been assigned, I sometimes hope it did well. this is one those times. Well, it did score in the 'average' range. But then I kept scrolling and found that you had attained a very high pinnacle, that of Posthumous's Fantasy Art Gallery. Not bad, [thumb]camerabug[/thumb], not bad.
This image is beautifully composed. All the information in there is essential. It has excellent clarity. Are the colors believable? Maybe a little over the top, but hey, if that is what they were, well...
About all I can say is "hey, don't be a stranger!" Send in more than 4 images a year because they will be appreciated, if not by all, then at least by a discerning few. Nothing wrong with that!

Cold Storage...by camerabugComment by Cory: Sorry!! I had to vote a 1 here though. My reason was that your photograph didn't show any distinct foreground or background framing of your main subject. Essentially your subject is in the same plane as your frame.
Per this comment, and this comment, plus a private message, I have decided to give you a new score, It is now a 4 for the other qualities of this image (despite what I feel is still a DNMC image). Now go thank Bear_Music for he does make good sense sometimes, or at least inspires me to be a bit more open minded (or at least punish people slightly less for what I see as either shoehorning or a failure to take a reasonably literal interpretation of the rules..) |

Contrastby camerabugComment by Sheryll: Funny enough I don't think you have enough contrast in this image. There is an even gray tone with no bright brights and dark darks imo. The two textues are contrasting though if that's what you meant by the title. A little curves would make it a better photo though. |
