Woodby JoaniePComment by Yo_Spiff: Very cute model, and decently photographed. The whole shot just feels kind of forced to me, though. Not sure if that makes sense.. |

Woodby JoaniePComment by kevip6: The pose is good here and you have a good model but the lighting and aperture have given you a completely flat image. There are a couple of things that woul have drastically improved this, firstly shooting on a wider aperture to throw everything but the model out of focus would have made the image stand out more. Secondly, and more importantly is the lighting, anything to give some kind of modelling to the face and body would have helped. Unfortunately the model blends into the background and there is no depth to this shot. Hope that's helpful, if not please feel free to PM me |

Woodby JoaniePComment by bassbone: lovely model - i just wish the light were not so flat and the processing so uninspired. |

Woodby JoaniePComment by treimee: The overall feel of the photo seems a little monotone. Wonder if a bump in the color of the contrast would help? |

Tilted Spireby JoaniePComment by Yo_Spiff: As much as this tries to come off to me with impact, it's falling a little short to me somehow, and I can't quite nail down why. I do know I have past entries of my own that have performed poorly for the same reasons. Perhaps the flare does not work, or maybe if you'd clipped the shadows some, to make it more of a sihlouette. Not really sure. |

Tilted Spireby JoaniePComment by jotaga: The sky is well exposed, but the sun is too strong and distracting. Would be better to have avoided it. I would prefer if the lines of the building where leading to the center of the picture, and maybe starting on one of the corners. Considering that this is a silhouette, you should have explored more the top of the building, trying to show more the "spikes" (don't know the proper name) up there. |

Man Ray's " Larmes "by JoaniePComment by odriew: Would have worked better with a bigger DOF/narrower aperture or a tighter crop. The OOF nose and mouth jump right at you. 5 |
