I like the light spot on the violin, but the lighting of the sheet music should have been more even. Also, the image (or the violin) is so clean that it becomes impersonal.

Wonderful photo. So clear and well focused. The colors are lovely, too. The lines on the violin and the page of music add to the feeling of the picture - it meets the challenge very well.

Ah! A Suzuki pupil! Funnily enough I'd thought of this but never had time to set up. A nice clean shot but the music score is a bit underexposed to the left and the violin is at a rather awkward angle. Otherwise a good attempt at the challenge.

I'm not sure how I feel about the framing. It adds more of the same color and detracts from the unusual coloring of the twig and cone. The composition otherwise is strong and interesting. The papertowel (?) background would be a touch better if it was in softer focus (it's texture competes in some way with your main subject)

Background texture shows up nicely...lack of intensity in color of pine cone and twig bothers me for some reason.
